A personal favourite of mine...
This may not be one of the most famous Newgrounds games, but it definatally has a place in my favourites. I can't remember when it was I actually played this game for the first time, but I liked it then and, on revisiting it, have remembered WHY I liked it so much.
Firstly, I like a nice fantasy based game (bonus points for that) and not only does this one pull it off well, it really captures the whole retro fantasy feel - reminding me of games such as Legend (for the SNES) and the old Steve Jackson/Ian Livingstone game books. It really has an arcade-game feel to it too and, to be honest, I'd love to see it actually IN the arcades.
I noticed a lot of people have praised the soundtrack, and I'm goint to have to agree with them. It suits the game really well and I could swear it was from a Sega Megadrive game.
I'm a sucker for nostalgia ^^ Nice work. A follow up maybe?

you have done really well on this m8t i like the time based battles on the last bit after demon but i completed that but challenge mode is vicious well done

What a classic and terrific adventure, challenging and engaging, the all-entity lineup of enemies gives me a genuine feeling of nostalgia for those old fantasy maze books.
