Pretty good, although I got bored by level 5 because the gameplay is so repetitive. You just keep blasting at never-ending hoards of unarmed drones, and I felt like I was playing the same level over and over. It would have been nice if you designed the levels in such a way that it would make the gameplay more interesting and complex. They're too flat and featureless in this game, even with the holes.
I liked the first one's overall gameplay better. It had less but better armed enemies, bosses, and more interesting levels. Also, it's not that I absolutely dispise the gun kickback thing, but you could do without. Maybe you could think of a way to make the game more challenging that ADDS fun to it instead of slightly detracting. Same with the energy meter.
But all in all, a fine game.
