Reviews for "PALADIN episode 3"

good work

you've improved alot from your work on the first episode, ignore the 'kids' who complain about the fighting or ending, they're judging you based on what they expected and not on what you produced. keep up what you're doing w/the series. personaly i would like to see you remake the first two eppisodes using your improved style.

jesus, that sucked

id go on and on, but the last guy covered most of it. i gotta say though, that the ending SUCKED. first, a paladin is supposed to act all highand mighty, a challenge and stuff to the undead warrior, but no, you just had him stab the thing in the back taking all the drama right out. what the fuck were you thinking? honestly, i was gonna give you a four till that. now you get a two. happy, moron?

This story is mediocre compared to the 1st two.

I've got to be brutally honest with you here man.. I really didn't like that. The first one was absolutely the best, but the concepts you used in this story were way over done, and really the overall effect felt odd and it contrasted with the feel of the first two.

The Paladin, who the narrator said had no name, ended up having a name, which was unnecessary, and there was too much talking in this one. Your first movie, although very silent, told a big story all by itself... now we're being introduced to a whole new story, with characters i don't give a shit about, a phony dialogue, souped up but meaningless graphics and on top of all that, the hero lost all the glory he had in the first movie. He went from an unfortunate, but noble warrior who hid underground his entire life, to a weak fighter who was a about as skilled as a barber and as noble as a BACKSTABBER.

It's not noble to stab an enemy while his back is turned, especially an injured one, be it a man or zombie. To me, the story has been ruined, and it has gone the way of so many sequels before it.

Wait a second!

Paladins don't backstab, they face their opponents before they kill them.
It was good though!

Quite good, without a doubt the best so far!

Awesome work man, i was truely impressed by each and every element in this. I was amazed at your fantastic presentation, beautiful story and complex backround story as well. Im sure its safe to say anyone will like this episode better than the others. And its good that you can kind of come in at episode 3, because it kind of explains everything you need to know anyways. It did have some slightly rough points but those were mighty easy to overlook as the impressive story telling kind of made them fade away. Well heres my review.

The graphics were awesome, but i didnt quite think they were perfect for a few reasons. The drawings were awesome, i love how you draw your characters, sort of with an aura, whether it be dark or heroic. I mean you knew the hero was a good guy just by looking at him, and same goes for the evil guy. The colours were very good too, here they werent quite perfect, i mean i wasnt a fan of the blue hair or anything. But you made it work :D. The backrounds werent all that detail, though they did have a solid amount. They looked good still, i mean they almost look like really nice sketches, especially in Fendhar's palace. This isnt a bad thing at all, just a unique way of doing things. The animation was 100% percent satisfying, it was great but work on movements a bit. The style was the best thing about this movie in my opinion. First your animating style has improved nicely since episode one. I always commend improvement. But this had almost nothing to do with your overall style. The presentation was fantastic, this is the kind of way professional movie intros are done, whether this was meant to be explaining the story or not. The story was truely well done and presented. The idea was just great, it has the epic feel to it without being corny in any way. Lots of flash these days try to have epic/dark storylines but they fail miserably. This would be a good example to show new artists of what a good storyline would be like. The sound was awesome too, good quality combined with superb voice acting, and wicked cool sound effects. The voice acting in this was awesome, especially the narrating one who fit everything perfectly. The sound effects were very good, you want your movie to feel like a real one in most cases, having manyu sound effects like you did really help to get that feel across.

Overall this was an awesome movie with tons of extra potential, i have a feeling this series will continuously get better and better. And i sure hope it does, and it becomes a much more famous series than it already is. Dont dissapoint in episode 4!
