Reviews for "Sin City Tribute"

Sin City fans should not watch this

ZOMBIE!!! one of the worst songs ever and putting it over this film was a terrible idea. I've been reading Sin City for years and have the original comics for reading and for collecting as well as the new 2nd print edition that came out this year because of the movie... Your little tribute could decide whether it wanted to pay tribute to the movie or the comics or what it wanted to be... the action was stiff and the characters look like half assed traces of the original images... i just felt that this was like "hey i read the comics after i watched the movie and thought it was cool... let me seem cool and do this" and eck... just stop...

Meh

I am an avid Sin City fan and I am sorry to say, this flash really does it no justice. The first frames with Marv, my immediate thought was, "Why is Marv's face gray?" The movie and comics strongly emphasize contrast and so that image seemed very wrong to me. The low scores for graphics and style are due to the fact that the style and majority of these images are the creation of Frank Miller, not you. Therefore you do not really deserve the credit for them. I give sound a 6 only because I like the Cranberries, but the song did not go along with what the movie is about or the theme or anything. It made no sense in the context. I understand you're just a fan making a tribute, but I feel this really does the movie and comics no justice.

Hmmm....

You say you are a big Sin City fan, but your submission was inaccurate. A Dame to Kill for is not the book where Marv hunts for Goldies killer. A Dame to Kill for involves Dwight dealing with a manipulative woman from his past and is not featured in the film.
Just an FYI.

Why?

If this was your first submission please make it also your last

o well

i'm left with a "ho hum" kinda attitude. im sitting here, eating some good orange spaghetti and as i look at your show, all i see is a dude who just got so impressed by a really cool movie that he felt a drive to sum it up in flash and call it a tribute. no originality really. do you really feel proud of yourself? good luck finding that dead end job.
