Other NG authors should take lessons from you.
Although lacking in things considered to be the bread and butter of flash animation, that is: Weird japanese music, strange jokes, dialogue, or even the most polished animation. Yet without these, this author was able to develop characters, and poetically tell a message. Now granted this is not a flash to watch casually for a quick laugh, but it IS a flash done right. It told a story eloquently, emotionally, and spiritaully, without useless darkness, macabre scenes, or useless violence. Firth - and the rest of your cult - learn from THIS.

I really enjoyed your movie. I agree with others and think its always refreshing to see something a little more positive on here. I thought the choice of music was great and you really did an awesome job of telling your story with the music driving it.
I came away from this submission with a really nice feeling, its rare to even be thinking about movies after you've seen them on NewGrounds. With most of them being short they easily become disposible and you go on to watch another. So its really special when movies like yours come along and leave viewers with something to think about long after you've closed it.

Emotional
The artwork was decent, meaning it could have been improved a little, but the overall piece is what makes this an artful work. Music fit beautifully and jumping through everyone's memories really makes you feel like you know the grandfather. I felt as though I was almost losing him too.
Very moving
Your selection of the perfect music totally makes this peace something worthwhile. The images and animation were absolutely terrible, yet the scenes you conveyed were all spot on. truly moving, great job!
