No problem, and I hope you find it useful.

YAY!

yay something helpful. I learned a little flash in school one time on like a very old mac and a very old version of flash cause it had a tutorial. then when i tried to make a flash with flash pro for my mac osx i forgot what i learned and couldn't figure out how to make things bend and turn in a smooth motion (kind of like a picture moving across the screen but not teleporting) and i couldn't find the tutorial on flash pro. this helps a lot thx.

Smoking-Chimney responds:

Glad to see this helps. Thanks for taking time to review :D

Lol... good to see a fellow Brit... no one else would advertise that :) Thanks a lot and good luck!

Key.isDown and more???

well it was pretty good for beginners but for good flash programmers you could have had some more helpful things. like Key.isDown and backround scrolling and walking into doors and collision detection. i mean u had some pointers for tweening and thats kool but no interactivity game pointers? make another tutorial thats helpful for good programmers. that will be a 10 for sure!!

Smoking-Chimney responds:

I don't know if you've done any Flash, because there isn't any on your profile, but this is clearly designed for people who are getting to grips with starting on Flash, and people who use Flash and need a hand with a few relatively basic things. 'Interactive game pointers' don't fall in that category, and although that would probably be quite good, it wouldn't fit into this tutorial. However, on the last page of this tutorial, it explained variables and if statements so that new Flash users could potentially understand, and it is these that would make your game :)

MATH IS POWER!

I apologize for the idiocy, that was the most helpful flash tutorial ive ever seen! thank you for this, i'm puttin it in my favorites!

Smoking-Chimney responds:
