Reviews for "Lord of the Clocks pt. 1a"

this is amazing

wow. put together extremely well. the voices and animation synced perfectly. i usually am neutral or dont like clock movies but these ones on clock day are amazing. keep it up!

Sweeeeeeet!

This deserves a 10, no matter what people think!!

Beutiful

I've only seen your 12 o'clock clock street movies before this (probably butchered that title sorry) but after those and this movie you are defintely one of my favorite clocks or possibly my favorite (did that make sence (it didn't to me).

But, now on with an actual review. I really liked how you changed the Lord of the Rings story to fit with the Clocks and New grounds. Who ever did the voice was supurb. Who ever that was I am a fan (probably said in the credits but I was too much in a rush to write this). Lastly the art was excelent. You are most likely one of the best flash makers on this website.

Keep up the great work and I can't wait to see the rest of this series.

About time...

This is the first Clock animation who deserve a 5/5... and that's the first Clock animation who kept me awake... Nice Job StrangeClock!

Great!

I must say, the animation in this movie never dissapoints. Throughout the movie, movements were always constantly smooth and firm, never looking unnatural (for clocks, anyway). The sounds were amazingly crisp and in-tune with the movie as well.
However, theres not much origionality going on here. Your basically replacting the word "Ring" with "Vote", and taking everything from there. Scenes are choreographed, looked, and sounded just like what they do in the movie. You basically re-did LotR in flash, but put clocks inside every charachter's clothings. I'm really dissapointed by the lack of origionality, and therefore, humor.
Of course there are cases where purely exhilerating action scenes outweigh hackneyed humor, and sadly, there is none of that to be found either. While the animation is fluent is constant, a clock can only do SO much with their nonexistant limbs. In other words, they're not very versatile creatures to try and create action scenes with.
Overall, I guess those people out there with all eyes and no brains would enjoy this. Sorry if I sounded harsh, but your movie truly was worth my time and I enjoyed it. Nontheless, the lack of origionality and humor don't overshadow the beautiful sounds and visuals.
