Reviews for "Star Wars Episode 3: ROTV"

Do you think they've had enough yet?

I mean truly you've been at their newbie-ridden throats for far too long now. Grant it, they deserved it, but I think after the few odd flashes I've seen Crono go after a moogle and whatever Shin might be at the moment (using Elmer Fudd from the Loony Toons B-ball game?) gets a wee bit repeatative.

Vinstigator responds:

I think they bit off more than they can chew. But if this becomes popular, I might have to do what George Lucas did and make some prequels!

((( HEH )))

Interesting idea, you have some nice sprites in this, i like the way you have animated your sprites very well, and how nice everything looks. The animations are good, and you made the sprites move well for the battle scene, and for the story. The story is nice, and i like the humor in this animation a lot...

NOOoooooooooOOOOOO!!!!!!

I really enjoy Star Wars spoofs, especially the ones on the new episodes.

Anyway, this was a stray in the right direction. The file size could have been greatly reduced with Mp3/Gif compression try to fix that for your work after this because I hate waiting for 5 megs to load. I don't see what made you do this, Shin was missing from online for 2 months and MoogleSlayer hardly goes on NG anymore.

I wasn't appealed by the opening scene with Darth Paper and General Moogle talking...seemed a bit to egotistcal. I liked the lightsabers in the following scene but it was a missed opportunity in some parts. You could have made Crono look like Obi-Wan (if that is who is was potraying), ya know. Give it more of the Star Wars feel. I was viewing this from a really shitty computer so I can't judge the fighting scene since when lots of things are moving it makes it lag. I'll view it from my computer later to see how it should look.

This movie redeemed itself for the re-actment of the infamous "NOOOOO" scene from Ep.3. I found it funny in every part there.

Might want to warn for spoilers next time because you spoiled the biggest part of the whole movie...lol...

Vinstigator responds:

Haha I didn't even realize the spoiler thing until you pointed out! I could've compressed the music and lowered it by a few megs, but I wanted the sound quality to be top notch. I had to reduce the "imperial march" during the talking scene just to get the file size under control.

And you should definately check out the fight scene on your computer. I took your advice about moving the camera around to make it look better. Plus it's fast-paced because the music is streamed to that scene, meaning it will never drop below 30 fps.

Well I'm glad you liked it. The Vader/Paper scene was pretty fun to make :P

Funny

I was good, not a big crono trigger but it's still better then some of the stuff out there.

Vinstigator responds:

Glad you enjoyed it

twas good

ok i am ill at the moment so i didnt watch all of it but when i feel better i deffinatly will. the movie was interesting, it had humour and i liked the whole idea. the graphics were good although i do not like pixel animation but i thought it worked well. keep it up dude, ignore the ones who gave bad reviews cause i have not noticed one of them to reach front page with a flash animation.
your movies are gonna go far and people are going to like you more and more if you carry on doing movies.
i also want to say your the only authour i know to give flash animation feedback and thats also really cool.
looking forward to your next movie and when i am 18 i shall donate some money to you ;)

Thanks for the support. And yeah, have of the idiots that gave this a bad review couldn't make front page if their life depended on it.
