Reviews for "Overprotective Part Two"

Good, could be improved.

You know, I was impressed with this, the style was what really did it for me. I consider over 7 overall to be worth a daily feature. The problem that I really saw was the lack of real action. It had intense music, and lacked in action to match it. Consider this a review of both, as both so far have the same faults and triumphs. I hope you improve with sound outsource the voice talent, pick up the animation, add fights, and you have a gem, outstripping Madness Combat if done right. Keep up the work.

Good but suspect.

It was great and everything... but I think this particular entry needs to be picked apart for attempts to subliminally trying to influence audiences.

Near the start of the movie, I noticed some words flash near the bottom. Is there any ways someone could quickly check frame by frame.... I'm kinda curious to know what that word may be, if there is such a word, or if I am just fucking crazy.

Sikes responds:

That's a cool thought, but I don't think 20 fps is fast enough to be subliminal is it?

Kinda complicated

I just clicked Story So Far, and it's about 10 pages long. Why...
It's a huge story, but almost nothing is shown.
Good parts: Violence, animation (very smooth) and sound quality.
Ask somebody else for a better story, and maybe I'll start liking your flash.

Sikes responds:

Like talking foxes and fighting sticks? I think I'll stick to my own story, most seem to like it as is. I'll try to use pictures in my next intro though.

Pretty swell...

You use unlicensed music! You should at least thank Drowning Pool and Linkin Park for making such damn good songs. Animation and artwork, including sound was much better than part one. You have improved.

Sikes responds:

You my friend, are absolutely correct. When I made the credits I knew I forgot something. Please don't think me a jerk.

I am pleased to see this on Newgrounds

Aight, I'm a animation major in college, and this is my field, so, I hope this doesn't just get brushed off. But, heh, whatever.

I enjoyed this man. I liked the secnd scene better than the first though. I thought the fighting and animation was better. There were few parts where it seemed like you cut a few corners, but I know how annoying it can be to keyframe in Flash. Anyway, I like your style man. The movement was nice and I appreciated your personalized motion blurs, non of that pre-made bullshit. Good job. I actually was upset when it ended, I wanted to see you fight the big dude. Heh, most pieces on here don't make me feel that way. Mad props man. Oh, one more thing. Just from one animator to the next, the sound was not very good. some of the sound effects and what not were too stock sounding and faded in and out. Try a paper towel in front of the mic to prevent popping. If knew this shit already, then, sorry for the redundancy. Keep it up.
