Reviews for "PAIN: Angel"

Nice style, but need work.

The scene transitions, sound wise, were awful. The music just cut out, and at bad moments as well. Try and find moments in the songs that better lend themselves to cuts. Secondly, the motions, especially the fights, move between two extremes. The fights need more movement than one strike that hangs for half a minute. Contrast that with the walking sequences which make him look as though he is moving at the speed of sound. Neither form of movement is implemented particularly well. Finally, flesh out the story more before abruptly cutting to an end like that. Like I mentioned, nice style. Just work on the other elements and you should have some fine flash movies.

Pacing

The mix of graphic styles is a good start, but the forms do not look solid. To refrain from spoilers, I'll just say that the penciled area could have been integrated a little better. The most obvious problem with this piece is the pacing. Scenes went on too long to highlight the music. Ultimately it made it look like you didn't have anything else to add to the story or draw. And, an over-use of slow-motion for those particular scenes. Either develop those scenes more or make them shorter. Also, the subtitles were hard to read, though not impossible.

There's a good amount of potential here if you just focus more on the story than the special effects and music.

Meh

Not bad like some of the song bits u got on it plot not bad ither its just meh nothing to new or exsitcing hope i held

Not that good

It could have been a lot better. The style was alright, but story was a bit too hardboiled. That and... I just don't like it.

Like I havn't seen this before...

Dark and moody guy with sword fights demons.

Seriously, what's up with that?

Sorry, your movie was well done, well animated, but I'm just bored of this tired old premise.
