Mega Man + Ikaruga = Instant Win.

I just don't see how CAPCOM doesn't create megaman game as unique, though borrowed, like this. It adds some degree of strategy, while retaining its mindless action value. This is some great-quality gamin' right here: the presentation, the music, and the controls are all solid. Because this is a flash, however, they were some slow frame rates, and the level design, like in stage 1, could've been better. Nonetheless, I want to thank the man who made this above-average game.

What's the point with the cheat codes, btw? Was it something I earn after beatin' this game?

Frankenroc responds:

I'm glad you enjoyed it despite the shortcomings you mentioned.

As far as the cheat codes, you get one in each stage if your play rank is high enough. Five stages = five total codes. They range from cosmetic to useful, and the last one ranked "just plain cool" with at least one of my beta testers.

This was fun

This megaman game was very fun. Exactly like the real thing

Frankenroc responds:

Thanks, that's what I was going for.

Nice way to combine 2 games

I never had though of a game of Megaman combine with the gam of Ikaruga. I love both games, so I have to say that this game was cool. Altough, I did hate that you start from the beggining if you get kill.

Anyway, well done. I hope to see more of this strange, but original, combination of 2 games.

Frankenroc responds:

Glad you enjoyed it. And like I've said before, a continue feature is on the way.

A classic

Playing any 2D megeman game brings back memories. Although I never actually played the NES version. Was the megabuster capable of going through walls? Nevertheless I enjoyed it while it lasted. Keep it up

Frankenroc responds:

As far as I can remember it could go through walls. I suppose I should take a look at my MM Aniversary Collection to confirm.

Very Well Integrated.

The game concept was impressive, although the gameplay starts a bit un-dramatically in the beginning. Thats because the enemies are blocks of chunks. I didn't actually pass the first level so I really shouldn't judge. But you know, when you absorb attacks you should also refill your health guage at the same time. Anyway it was really neat. Great Work.

Frankenroc responds:

Blocks of chunks?

Absorbed shots in Ikaruga added to a weapon meter you had in that game, which was one of the ideas I originally had but later scrapped.

Glad you liked it, though.
