Reviews for "Red Dwarf, Euan"

Could be better

I found the sound wasn't crisp, and the movements weren't satisfactory. The characters just appeared very stiff the whole way through, but It was good. Just not my style...

RogerregoRRoger responds:

yeah i know, i'm bad and ackward in using models

Red Dwarf

The fact that it was Red Dwarf made my day, but the graphics didn't seem all there. It was rather choppy, but I it was overall an alright flash.

Gotta love making deals and having to follow through with em, eh?

RogerregoRRoger responds:

Yeah.. well i can only agree with you.
Using models is not my cup of tea, especially not with 4 or more characters on screen at the same time O_o

hmm not sure what to make of this really

im a huge fan of red dwarf, musta seen every episode loads etc well i thought the animation was pretty good, and rimmer and cat's voices were fairly acurate lister is no longer scouse and krytens not really anywhere near. I have no idea why there was a hedgehog on board and the canned laughter was awful. However i did laugh when the rocket didnt quite make it to the ship. I only had one recognition of red dwarf in the movie and that was when cat called rimmer goalpost head (thin head in the subs?). But for someone who hasnt seen many eps or even likes sitcoms its not a bad shot.

RogerregoRRoger responds:

righto thanks.
Well i saw red dwarf with no subtitles, so i don't know what cat always sais to Rimer, it sounds like Thin head...

What the smeg?!

Okay Rodge, here's the deal: Animations are supposed to be of good quality. Yours have bad artwork, inexperienced voiceacting, but alrightish humor.

You use a cheap excuse of "I'm not a good artist." Solution? Get a good artist to do the artwork for your animatons, duh!
Voiceacting...Hm. The guys you get to do the voices in your animations are terrible impressionists. Seriously, the Sonic cast sound nothing like either the Sega voiceactors or the 4Kids VA's.
But you know what they say, practise makes perfect. Just get your lot to practise impressions an' stuff before you make any more movies with voices in them.
Excuse me if I sound like I'm just being negative but I'm trying to help. I watched this Red Dwarf movie and thought "Oh my God."
Seriously, I can't stand watching bad parodies of TV shows like this.
What's next? Daft Vader? Retarded Doctor Who? Remake this movie with better artwork and VA's. If you do that, you're sure to get better reviews cuz the humor was actually quite good. "Quite witty putting an actual bridge on the bridge."

So in conclusion, get better at voicing and art.

Peace out.

not bad, not bad

eh. it was decent, aside from the addition of some random assed character and more than a couple of inaccuracies. oh well, right? no one is perfect. good effort, though, definitely. good sound and nice animation. i thought the laugh track was a very nice touch as well! just remember, you can never go wrong with red dwarf.
