Reviews for "Red Dwarf, Euan"

that jhon at all places jajaja

i don't no what the fuck was this flash about but i don't care that much cause all of your movies are pointless and thats what makes them funny, and i havn't ever in my life heard about this show red dwarf, seems to be boring in real life but i don't really know since i havn't watch the series, the things that i liked was when the ship killed jhon, but wtf was john doing in the planet of bush, o well...

RogerregoRRoger responds:

John has gone where noone has ever died before, or something

WTF

I'm abig fan of red dwarf but not of this sry, its alright especually rimmer voice which is you to a T.

RogerregoRRoger responds:

?

Gfx and style-wise not bad, humour lacking tho

Graphics & style-wise not bad, however the humour and plot pails in comparison to Grant Naylor's (Red Dwarf's creators - Rob Grant & Doug Naylor) writing. Perhaps if u used referential humour (ie, jokes from the series) it would have been better.

*Fan nit-picks* In "reality" the Red Dwarf is much *much* bigger than you've depicted it - 5 miles long, I think. Nice attempt to emulate the characters' personalities, but falls short a bit.

I take it you're not a fan of the show.

Overall, not a bad effort. Perhaps a little more research on the series would have improved the script. :)

Sitcom - situation comedy. Typically a thirty minute television stage comedy with few to no exterior filming or videotaping. Performed in an interior set.
Yes, a laugh track (canned laughter) is generally used.
The interior scenes in Red Dwarf are filmed in front of a live audience. The audience also sees the "on location" scenes, thus giving it a more authentic feel.

RogerregoRRoger responds:

Well yeah, only saw 4 episodes..
Actually, when you see the " hidden" message on the ship, it sais: this is not red dwarf but a red spaceship which has nothing to do with the flashmovie.
Cause i knew people would complain about how it looks

Situational Comedy

It's a "Situational Comedy", thus "sitcom" where they take their characters and in every episode they put them in some kind of a situation where comedy would then ensue. See "Friends"...

It's not funny if there is nothing to base the show around seperatly every week. Often they recycle old jokes and beat them like an orphan... Until finaly the joke gags on it's own vomit and dies horribly.

That being said, Red Dwarf was actually not a bad series, it had alot of the English dry humor. It was pretty funny at times, better imho then most Hollywood sitcoms.

I gave you a 10 for violence cause I've never seen anyone butcher a good idea like this before. I know you don't like sitcoms but jesus man, it's like you watched a half an episode. Then took a crap... Peering into your excrement you pull the best jokes you could from that. Then put those in... It's just a complete failure...
The short end of it is, it's crap.

RogerregoRRoger responds:

actually it were 4 episodes..
And the "best"joke was something like that butler robot thinking lister is an android, gives him assignments, then discovers he was wrong, and then gives him a beer.. Dry English humor, whatever.

well

it wasn,t that funny but that were great graphics but imp is much funnyer AND WTF IS A DAM SITCOM please tell me

RogerregoRRoger responds:

a sitcom is a "comedy series"where they need an audience to laugh, reminding the viewers when a joke was made or not, cause the viewers are to stupid(and i don't blame them) to recognise them themselves
