Omega-Zer0 responds:

Glad I could help!

I didn't really think my tutorial would be this popular, being my first real submission and all, but I guess I was wrong. And glad too ; )

Keep up the good work!

Great Tutorial!

You rock! This tutorial was extremely helpful. The only thing: the music gets annoying after a while.

Omega-Zer0 responds:

Yeah...I had all my new aditions for this tutorial but before I could upload it, my dad reformated the hard drive without saving my stuff.

So it seems I'll never be able to add a sound off button ever...

Sometimes I just hate technology lol...

brilliant tutorial ^^ good work!

this is a great turorial but i need a bit of help... when i make my symbol of the srprite i do about 5 keyframes of animation but it wont loop. can you tell me how to make the walking loop?

Omega-Zer0 responds:

Hmmm...it should loop if it was created as a movie clip. Might wanna check that. I had a same bit of trouble yesterday while making snow but changing it over seemed to help. Should loop and loop forever : )

Its Good

But can ya help me?

on one area you said there should be some handles right?

well when i pressed Ctrl+B, the sprite's background didn't turn to the colour you specified, and the sprites themselves started to have holes in em', not big ones, just small ones.

Omega-Zer0 responds:

Hmmm...I wonder how much sleep I skivved off while making this thing, seeing all the spelling errors and such I put into this lol! And I'm not sure why I said handles...I'm sorry! When you import your sprite sheet it will have a gray border around it. When you press Ctrl + B, it should have a dark background when highlighted. If you have spots in your sprite sheet it can only mean the background to your original sheet wasn't transparent or has just simply been tampered with.

This can be fixed by using picture programs such as Fireworks MX and using the magic wand tool to get rid of the nasty white blocks. Else you'll have to find a better sheet.

This really helped

This rocked. Can you just tell me how to put in backgrounds without it screwin up? Nice Music By the way

Omega-Zer0 responds:

I hope the I answered your questions through the email. I'm happy to help anyone who asks : )
