Reviews for "Sprites: Done Right"

Nice tutorial

Great job. But when I made my animation in my movie clip and then dragged it onto the stage it didnt make any keyframes or anything it just had one keyframe and the guy just sat there. what am I doing wrong?

Omega-Zer0 responds:

Make sure you have one key frame for each action in your movie clip. If there are 10 sprites of megaman running, you will have 10 key frames.

Chech that out and if that's not it, PM me and we'll try to get it straightened out...

Thanks Dude!!!

Thank You Omega_Zer0!!! Now I know better about animation about sprites and I'm going to try making a sprite movie !!!( Yeah Right :})

Omega-Zer0 responds:

Have faith bro! Did you think I had any idea what I was doing when I made the first version of this? Ok, well I had some idea, but there were doubts. But I knew it would come out and see where it has gone?

Trust in yourself, and I can't wait to see your first sprite production!

I like it!

But what is a "shadow"?

Omega-Zer0 responds:

The shadow is the semi-transparent image that you can see when you enable Onion Skinning. When you create a new key frame, you are able to see the "shadow" of the object in the last frame, enabling you to line up your next sprite or whatever with ease!

Thank You!

very nice movie and step by step on how to animate sprites.thanks now I can make sprite movies

The only sprite tuturial youl need.

I tried the other sprite tuturial here but I coudn't get anything to work. But this one owns the picture by picture instructions really helped and it explained it so well.
