1,705... any good?

anyways, this really needed heaps of work. a decent engine i think, with good controls and game play, but the graphics were certainly sub-par.
the menu looked pretty n00bish, the ingame graphics needed around 5 times more detail, and the maps just needed to be bigger... not bigger in proportion to the player, bigger in terms of screen size.
sound also needed improvment - the song didnt loop, and wasnt that good... no sound effects?! wtf! need sound effect dude.
overall, average game.

I have never spent so long on it that the sound didnt loop, so i didn't know about this.

I know about the sound effects, and im also making a better menu.

However the graphics do need some changing, such as the character and more detailed tiles but apart from that i think theyre ok...

I dont' see why the others were complaining so much...I enjoyed it ^-^. The character really reminded me of a headcrab for some reason...something in its blobish shape and the way it moves/jumps, I guess. Yeah...I don't have much more to say. Erm...good job?

Thanx, but the others simply judge games on graphics. I play loads of old games more than new ones, because i like them better even if the graphics are worse, because so much time is put into graphics these days that gameplay gets worse.

You have a good base for creating a game, so just keep up the work and you'll get better (not trying to insult you...). I'll really didn't think that the song fitted into the game, so I would lose it if it was my opinion. You should really find a song that represents what your game is about, but it’s not a bad choice of a song. Anyways, good luck in the future.

Thanx, i know the song doesn't fit it was just for a laugh, and also because it was the only small file sized music flash would load!!

If anyone can email me some tips on where to find music that actually works in flash, that would be awesome!

Man i cant pass the first level

Does anyone have the same problem or am i just a noob at this game?

Read the controls at the start. SHIFT = Fire weapon.

In the next version (0.9) i will add a more dynamic Instructions system.
