Hmm, I'm not too sure about this one. Firstly, if you made the tetris engine yourself using Actionscript, then you obviously have a lot of talent for programming in flash, but something tells me you downloaded the source from Flashkit or some other site, in which case, not so cool.
Either way it looks like your quite excited about the project, so carry on and do the best job you can. I'd really like to see themes from different animation series on NG, like YAFM, Joe Zombie, Salad Fingers, #cough# Kommando #cough#. Make sure you get the authors' permission first though.
Personally I've never really liked Tetris for some reason, but this looks like a reasonable start to your project.

i kno u said ur gonna update it but im sayn it anyway. why couldnt u put music while ur playn. i couldnt play the original tetris witout music nor this 1. still good idea tho.

Not Great
It's not bad, but it's not good. Although it's patriotic to Newgrounds. There's nothing to great or new or intresting, it's just Tetris. And your going to spice it up with some music and theme's. But why, it's tetris how you can find tetris any where including Newgrounds.

It was just effectivl another tetris clone, I dont see what was so "NG" about it apart from the backgrounds...
Twist it somehow, give it orginallity...

IT will be More NEWGROUNDED when it gets further in the project,the parts will have different colored NG logos on them, It will have NG music, The characters will say different things when you lose, its gonna be great!
Thats why its not so NGEY yet.
