The ambience makes it epic...
A different level of epic that I appreciate. Sounds great for an intro. Don't know how to compliment it more since everything seems to sit well enough for me.
I think that this melody is one of those that can be seen in a video/show that has a recurring melody where the author changes the theme around just a little bit with different emphasis on specific parts (i.e. solo-ing out the piano) to make it stronger or more depressing depending on the scenario. All in all, awesome work.
