Great game

Really good game, I liked it a lot. I made it to level 22/23 then I just couldn't do it. The controls were extremely difficult to control, adjust that and you've got a great game.

Hyper active

Seriously. Tone the controls down a bit. I attempted to go up a little bit and the ball zoomed up to a wall so fast I didn't have time to think. The controls are messed up.

Frustrating, but fun...

... or fun, yet frustrating? The idea for this puzzle game is great, although I have to complain that the controls sometimes make it hard to fully appreciate it. Especially during the reverse gravity levels, it seemed to me that the vertical movement of the ball was very difficult to control, making it hard to initiate anything like precise movements. Also, the Fanius level is a complete joke once one has passed through reverse and maximum gravity levels. There are several things wrong with the level design beyond the respawning issue - how is it possible that I spent far more time playing level 94 than the final boss level? And as somebody else had already pointed out - you might just as well remove levels 95 through 99; maybe prolongue the transition to the boss level, if you want to give people a little time to cool down. While the coconuts didn't pose too great a challenge to me, you should be aware that in some levels they can be eliminated simply by placing your ball above them, thus evading any possibility of getting hit. Don't know whether that is sneaky level design or simply unintended? Improve the controls, fix the sound looping glitch, add a sound on/off switch and pause mode and a higher score will be justified. As it stands now, this game is good, but its stand-out qualities derive from the idea, not the mechanics of gameplay.

Back in the day this was great and arguably the kick-start of Jmtb02's career. But it's a shame that time has taken its toll on this game due to it running faster than intended on more modern computers, making it more difficult. You can tell not just from the ball speed but because the time elapsed and gate timers go faster than real seconds. Makes it very tough to beat the creator's time of 581 "seconds". Also at least for me the boss music doesn't play anymore. This game could use a sort of remastering, as well as the other Ball Revamped games for that matter other than the 4th one.
