Cool.
Sounds like something from an 80's video game (good thing!). The first minute is quite boring an repetative, but it picks up pace and gets much more fun and interesting, especially at around 1:45. I'm no musical expert so there's not much else I can say other than, good job, keep it up!

Reviewing this song because u requested me to. so here i go...
i wouldnt put this song under ambient because it lacks some atmosphere.
drums were very interesting but sound random at times.
your melodies were okay but repetitive.

Interesting
It was definitely an odd combination of beats and sounds, I'm not used to it and it honestly doesn't appeal to me quite at all. However putting aside personal opinion the song was actually pretty good, the only ting is I think you were trying to put too MUCH into it for such a short amount of time. Besides that it's something that can be turned into a wonderful tone with a bit more work.
Melancholy?
Fairly straight forward, but seems, in my opinion, awkwardly titled.

Why? Melancholy means a sad or gloomy state of mind... and that (in my opinion) is the overall vibe of this song. The bass line holds it down, especially.
