Reviews for "Melancholy Suite"

Melancholy Suite

great song gorgo_I like the fact that you kept the beat/drums interesting and not just kept it the same the whole way through. All the parts compliment each other perfectly. Would be cool if it didnt just end/fade so abruptly, an extra 30 seconds or so with a fitting outro could make it even more complete.
5/5

Yeah, I know how to introduce structures fairly well but when it comes to climaxing or making a dynamic outro... I'm always conflicted. I'll definitely work on it. Thanks so much for the review and for your time, Tokolos ;)

Agrees :D

i agree with Popraz, a dark sci-fi themed song ...
the slow build-up threw me off for a sec but thats good xD np on that

there is one person on here that made a awsome battle song and i cant find
him atm >.< you need to get a hold of him and collaberate on a battle song to match this, then find a person who KNOWS what they are doin we it comes to games, put both tracks on it and come up with some more tracks to help it along BUT ( this is key ) all the songs have to match in a way or so ... hit me up on the results

and yes this is a challenge, take or leave its up to you :P

Gorgorothx responds:

Heh, I'm always up for a challenge. I'll get at you a.s.a.p.
p.s. Thanks for the review, Listenr!

Pretty Good

It has a pretty original sound to it, and you have some pretty cool uses of synth effects. The song takes a pretty long time to build but especially from 1:44 to the end, the song gains momentum and sounds really cool, almost Fight Club-like. I felt like the song has a really twisted core, it made me think of a dark sci-fi, something like Blade Runner, neon lit streets, stuff like that. Keep up the great work !

Gorgorothx responds:

Thanks for the compliments! I am into making my own films, so a lot of my audio work is geared towards being good background music. I'm slowly trying to develop my style into more layered and suitable for mainstream listening... so keep coming back to see what new stuff I cook up. Cheers, popraz!
