Reviews for "DDR-Kryptonite"

A decent Dance Dance Revolution knock-off.

The game itself was pretty fun to play, but unfortunately none of the arrows seemed to go with the music, which is really the whole POINT of DDR's steps. Also, there was no option to replay the game if desired; you had to close the movie and re-open it. A little fix-up and this game could really shine.
If anyone cares, my high score is 315650 on the first try, with a 140 Combo. (I play the real DDR a lot, so it's pretty easy with my fingers after getting used to it with my feet.)

Notes

I found that the notes didnt match the beat too well and that with the inconsistent note patterns, it made it mildly hard to play. Prolly just me though. I'm use to playing with my feet, not my fingers. lol

Why 3 doors down?

I think the idea and execution of the gameplay is pretty good. Almost as gun as dance dance revolution. But, what that game has that yours does not (besides a dancepad) is music that synchs with the arrows. 3 doors down does not belong in this type of game, especially if you dont match the beat with the keying actions. Use some music with a good solid beat that isn't as lame and overplayed as this song. Techno is the stereotype for this song because it works with the gameplay. If your going to use some other type of music thats valid just make sure it synchs well.

What the Fuck... I made this game!

Dude, if you're going to steal my games, at least have the decency to e-mail me before you do it. I did say that I released the .fla for other peoples to make their own DDR songs, but it'd be nice if you have the decency to cut down the length and refine the moves, both of which are reasons I didn't post this on the portal.

If anyone wants to know, this .swf was posted on flashkit.com, in the arcade->music section, with my name on it and predates this post by a long, long time.

Fun to play

Although it was very fun to play had a hard time determining if the double arrows were together or seperate jumps.
