Reviews for "Megaman PX - Time Trial"

One problem

The one and only problem with this game, (along with every megaman X flash game) is that no one can get the physics right! The wall jumping was WAY off, the dash jump didnt take you to the right speed, and the saber swing was much too slow.

I can say, however, this is the best flash re-incarnation I've seen of megaman. Just not even close to the origional engine.

Better luck in the future ^_^b

Andrew-Traviss responds:

The jumping physics vary from game to game in the series. I hate the floaty jump physics from X4 and later, Capom should be ashamed of them, so I didn't copy that. The dash jump, I did in fact copy the distance from X4, approcimately, I may be off by a tile or so. The wall jumping was really close to the original as well, and would move you up the wall by one tile per jump, which is exactly how far you moved up in X4. The saber slash is _exactly_ the same speed as it is in the real games, I don't even have the option of changing that, since all I had to work with were the exact same animation frames that Capcom used.

The problem with trying to say how close it is to the originals is that they vary so greatly from game to game.

woulda given it a better score but

this was off, like i couldnt get past one part, the setup was stupid, could be a lot better

good

its good but its hard to menuver around with the keys

Not bad, but could be better

The jumping sound fx was not that great, but you included the maverick hunters AND Bass. If you could improve this, add maybe Protoman and work on the sound FX. Still, i liked it

Andrew-Traviss responds:

All the sound effects were taken directly from existing Megaman games. If they are a bit odd in places, blame Capcom, not me.

make mmpx time trial2

make part 2 of this now:)
