wow....
i have now watched episodes 1-14 and this is one of the longest yet one of the most brilliant i have seen on NG. this series keeps getting better and better. this was your best movie yet. i love how the battle sequences have improved. wonderful job. great suspense. i can't wait to see the last one in this series. i hope it will be as spectacular as this one. nothing but 10's is all you deserve on this. awesome.

Great series
Your FFVI:The Day After series has become one of my favorite flash series' on newgrounds. Right up there with final fantasy trilogy and 8 bit theatre. You are a great flash creator, and your work with sprites is very good. Keep up the good work, vince!

True review
Now that I finally seen the series from start to now I can say that you have a good thing going. Again the improvment has shown and I can see bigger and better things from you in the near future. The scene load times have improved since the earlier work and the music is still up to par (though I'll question the whole moogle dance scene later when that part of my sanity returns [very doubtful]). The story is exactly what I expected wiyo u some exceptions. The first being what'll happen to Relm now. Will she also join in the final fray? Your main bad boy Vince is a no show as well. I have a feeling you have big plans to use him as the capper in this final episode. As I said before, you are definitly gonna be doing big things soon. Can wait for the final showdown and your CT work which you've mentioned.
The reason I didn't put Vince in this one was because I was trying to put other characters in the spotlight (Cyan and Sabin, for example). Part 13, Cyan and Sabin didn't get to kick any ass. Vince kinda stole the show in part 13 so I thought I'd give those two a chance. Vince might not be in the final battle since T-Dash doesn't really work with CT sprites. But he will be in the ending. I'll make sure his ending steals the spotlight ;)

Well ! Now I've watched all 14 episodes and here is what I thought about them.
Overall score "Voted on submission 0-5" : 4
The first parts of the movies I voted 3, but they where VERY close up to 4. I can't remember, but I think after maybe the 7th movie or something I voted 4 on them. The episodes from 10-14 I voted 5.
-RATINGS-
<Graphics> OK > There is nothing you can do with the 16 bit graphics, so I can't give you full score there. Your animation is pretty good, but a LITTLE slow sometimes. I don't know if u made it for slowmotion or you can't make it normal speed sometimes. But very nice indeed !
<Style> Well. I don't know what to say bout this one, but it is surelly a 10. You script for the story is VERY VERY VERY good. Well. there is a lot of fighting and the phrases "You will regret that" and so on, but it is amazingly good anyway!!! I am very pleased with the storyline. !
<Sound> here I am pretty sure what to say !!
You have done a great great job on the sound !! The music you have added to this serie is putted in the right spots (fight scenes or sad scences). The music is through the whole FFVI Day After is beautiful and very cool. The music is one of the reasons that made me vote 5 on some the episodes.
<Violence> hehe ! It says it self. It is very "bloody." The episodes contains really much violence and that is taking much place in all the episodes. Very nice fight-scence anyway :D
<Interactivity> There is not so much interactivity except the scene chooser. Maybe you should have put in some "pause" "start" "Stop" buttons. I don't know. OH YES ! The text is often very quick for us that watch the episodes, so I think that it would have been better if you either slowed down the text by some seconds or just added a "click to next line-button" cause there where some parts (not very many) where I did not read it all cause it went to fast.
<Humor> In the later episodes there are not much humor. The brother of the "prime evil" was the one that made SOME humor. There is some parts that is humorus, but not hilarious. BUT! The storyline would not be so good if you ruined it with dumb humor. I am glad that you made the episodes like you did.
