Reviews for "To Breathe Vengeance"

Neato

Wow, really cool and breathtaking !
The gxf and anims arent the best around but certainly high above avarege. The sound is excellent !
Good job !

it was just plain old cool

the movie was just very cool and not just finnished as fast as he she could.

Pretty Good........

This movie was pretty good, but there were many obvious flaws.

The lack of angle-animation was a biggie. For an example: the only angles you see his horse from are from the side, and the rear-end of the animal (which I didn't enjoy... it drew my attention elsewhere....j/k)

Realism is yet another problem. The main character is never injured physically. I agree with Ralf, that crossbow seemed to have an awful lot of bolts in it. And before that, I never saw him carrying that crossbow....

Keep in mind how realistic you want it to be and stick with it. All in all, it's worth the d/l time. I loved it, it was a great piece of work, Good Job!

Respectable

That's what this is. It's a little tacky with the invincible hero, that came from a town that got utterly slaughtered. And I know I'm gonna sound like a geek when I mention this, but the repeating crossbow, or chu-ko-nu as it was originally called, contained a 5-bolt clip, yet our hero got about 8 shots out of it? and he didn't even have to turn the crank...
Also, plate mail was designed specifically to protect the wielder from piercing and slashing attacks, so the hero should've had a great deal more trouble rending his foes limb from limb.
And the poor fellow had to ride bareback! Ouch, good luck having children!
Hmm... I'll not pick apart this movie any more, it was decent, respectable, and shows the author has potential. Good work, keep it up.

Despite some faults still a fantastic flash

A few suggestions: If you know it is gonna look retarted, then you might as well do it in black and white and using stick figures, so at least the "action" sequences don't all look like they were done in slow motion. Also, why make the hero invincible? It's a total bore when halfway through the movie I already know how it's gonna end. Finally, didn't people back in the olden days have palisades? Shields? Brains?
