Good job - you will do better.

I really enjoyed the art in this clip. The animation was not that bad at all - and you can tell that the artist is getting better and will be better.

The story was well portrayed considering the length and the lack of dialogue. The story itself left something lacking - any semblance of reality.

Chopping a dude in half? Pike men that are apparently completely deaf - they didn't hear a charging horse coming up behind them? A repeating crossbow with, what, fifteen bolts?

The fighting was really silly, to me. I had the feeling that the artist was more interested in telling the basic plot than in really telling a story.

I did like the shooting of the dude off the lookout tower.

All in all it was okay and watchable. The biggest problems I felt were related to the artist wanting to get the fighting over with as quickly as possible.

Put a little more effort into realism and you're going to be doing great.

Good work on the 2nd try but PU on the concept

The artwork was very basic, but I assume you are still trying to work out the mechanics of Flash. I have no help tutorials or manuals to help me so I gave up on it. As for the content, the brutally honest, it was juvenile, overly simplistic in the plot, and went way to much on the A to Z route. On your next flash video, really look at the choreographed fighting in movies and look up the hairstyles of those times in history books. The hero looked like a clean cut Mormon zapped back in time. Anyways, I gave a low overall due to the content and not the mechanics of a fledgling animator. Also the music never played at Low, Medium, or High Quality levels. Anyways good luck on your future animations!

terrible, trite, nonexistant storyline

The animation was poor, the storyline written by a 3 year old, and was completely unoriginal. Aesthetically, though, the animation was not bad, the only problem is that it is two dimensional. The creator obviously has some artistic talent when it comes to laying down graphics, but lacks terribly in the storyline department. although i'm really trashing this movie, i think that he'll make a lot more cool ones worthy of praise, and that this was a good stepping stone to get into animation with.
