I think the decision to use watercolor really made the feel of it. I could be totally wrong about that, but either way I love this image, it's enchanting.

I like how you put a twist on the siren/mermaid thing. It's not the greatest to look at, but I'm not a huge fan of water colors. It makes me wonder how and why, which is a lot more entertaining.

HO NOES!!!!!!!! the fisherman will be devoured by the electronic mermaid. she will drag him to the depths of the abyss where skin is pulled, bones are broken , flesh is devoured and tendons are ripped in a monumental orgy of carnage. o, look i am doing a dramatic review in a piece of art that is quite well done and mine is upwards the review of theshadling, the realist artist. :D cheers!
Accidental Greek Mythology?
It's great work, but the idea is a sort of futuristic mythology tale (Sirens, which lured sailors with their voice.... then ate them.) Work just a little on shadow, and this would be a full 10.
greek mythology wasnt the only myths to contain sea ladies that could seduce sailors
and its a common theme so yes that being im completly unorigional
