insane man

Very nice drawing dude! i really love the details on the armor. It is only a navigation robot or it has some kind of weapons too?

PD: it reminds me the droidekas, from star wars saga :P fan maybe? xD

Xionscar responds:

He is a non-combatant, primarily... Think of him as a tactician. ;]

I DO see a resemblance to the droidekas.. but I didn't intend for any such likeness! :P

very sick

At first glance i thought he was acting as a bridge for trooop transport. Then i thought maybe hes like a ship for landing on planets to mine or something.

Xionscar responds:

Nice! Although.. those roles may be a little difficult for him, as he's only 2.6 meters tall.

He's one tough mother though... so he probably wouldn't have too much trouble tossing troops across the crevice! xD

Sick

The perspective is spot on. I actually tripped out when I clicked for full size, because as I scrolled down I felt as though I was panning a surveillance camera or something. Seriously, very real.

Wicked looking bot, too.

Xionscar responds:

Ha! That's awesome!

Thanks a lot, man. :)

nicely done but..

I'm not sure its original. looks basicly identical to a boss in "zone of the ender II" but maybe im mistaken. regardless its a great pice of art.

Xionscar responds:

Original in the sense of ownership, not necessarily creatively.. since I based his design on creatures on our planet.. he's a mix of Deer and Frog. ;]

and Thanks!

I may have to go and check out this "zone of the ender" game(?). I've not seen many creatures similar to this guy.. :D

Very cool

One question though, What is the dome for?

Xionscar responds:

Basically a super computer that he hauls around. :)

The light coming from within it is his massive HUD. This creature has an incredibly complex nervous system that is tied into the suit and directly linked to the computer, but instead of hammering his brain with all the details and calculations directly, he's able to retrieve what he wants / needs to know by referencing the HUD.

Can't say much more... But I hope that clarifies some of what you were wondering. :)
