cool idea
That was pretty good stuff (albeit a little to cutsey for my taste, but very touching nonetheless). I'll confess I really didn't like the poem that much (personal opinion: the analogies were much to forced and the rhyme scheme didn't flow very well. But hey I'm just one guy, so don't sweat it).
I really did like the way your animations were smoothly transitioned onto the screen in perfect timing with the lines of verse from the poem. Granted the drawings were a bit rudimentary, but it was watching them being born from nothing that really caught my eye.
The music was beautiful and idylic for the mood you were trying to set; I love a good piano concerto (of course I also rock out to punk music. What a freak eh? ^-^).
Finally the premise: the Creator smiling down on all his good works. Old as dust, but still well executed and it hit the right buttons with me. I especially liked that you chose the unlikely setting of the lower arctic circle as opposed to some lovey-dovey meadow with butterflies and pink roses and blah blah blah. I love the north, and I guess that's what sold me.
Long story short: Great idea, great execution, great music. Consider upping the detail of your animation and...well the poem is totally a matter of opinion, so nevermind ^-^. Great job!
