There was some trick I used with the compression on the mix for this one that gave it that almost signature "ebb and flow" pulse... almost as if it were alive. I can't remember what the trick was. I tend to forget the important things and remember the inconsequential little snippets.

i love it lots. it is a sad beginning, like a person telling their story of death in their past village. or something like that you know recaping a battle. but i love it sooooo much. this isn't useless either. i think you should do one like my friend joe_yoshi with 440bpm
I think now (as I read through all these comments over a couple of time) that the major theme throughout my pieces is distress, but with a huge sense of hope that resounds throughout. I guess it mirrors my life in many ways - as I worry way to much about life in general.
