Life has been very rough on me lately, and without embarrassment, I admit that I nearly shed tears as I listened to your masterpiece. It reminds me of times of innocence and joy long past... and for that I thank you. You are a genius, and the world would be less enjoyable without your art.
Yes. It's true. You can never go back. I often long to be where I was when I was 18. I lived a good life then. I had tons of friends, everything was going so well, everything looked so promising - I had no problems. I was so happy. Things are so different now. I feel just generally afraid of life for some reason. My heart's not where it used to be.
Someday, someday i'll get back there...
