I dunno...It was better in the sense that it looks like actual effort was put into this. Problem is...it also looked like you just traced the other guy's pics. Which....I would advise against.....
Still, I liked your changes to some of the different scenes and whatnot! The shading and detail was better too (and the movement)

I really liked the song, and the animation told a story. I really liked how you showed the conflictions of man. He didn't want to fight for one reason, but he did anyways because he thought his enemy un-human, then in the matter of truth he found that his enemy is like himself. Really great work!
