Better, but worse!
Well, as I said, this version is better, but worse. I saw the original a few years ago and was hooked. This version has better graphics, which is nice, but some of the scenes were worse. First, the scene with the bard playing his lute. The lute was much bigger, and some of the other proporsions were off as well. Not too disturbing, but the scene right after , were the hero's armor is held by the young girl wasnt as good. It wasnt as sad, becuase the graphics made the people look diffrent. In the original, they looked sad, and that struck a cord. It would of been fine, but the fight scene was much diffrent. The fight scene (my favorite part) was a little wacked on proportions, and their stances and such weren't as cool. Also, you made the sun effect much cheaper. The original effect, with the sun already in place, and a veiw of the black stilloutes of the characters on the landscape rocked. The expressions werent as dramatic, which was also kind of bad. Finnaly, it comes to the last scene, which has the worst expressions of them all. Seriously, though, If you wanted to make a re-make, and make it better, you were on the right track with the interactivity, (puase, scene jump, ect) but you messed up the animation. All there really is to change here IS the animation and interactivity, so you must keep both in mind! At first glance, it doesnt seem so bad, but if you watch both versions side by side, the first one is better.

better than the original
newgrounds is all about graphics and looks most of the time, and in this flash, it shows that better graphics can make something great even better. this movie's art and animation were flawless. i loved every second of it. from the song to the style, it was all awesome. you and charlie zero have amazing talent.
