Good stuff

This tune has all the stuff that i said you last one lacked - length, variation, changes of instruments.

The 3 minute marker seems to be the key. Stick aroubnd this sort of length and you can come up with a decent tune, provided you fill it with variation. I can quite easliy see this being used for some sort of racing game now, it's got that extra tempo, to keep people with quick minds in the frame of mind for racing.

Mind you, if it's going to go for that sort of game, you'd need to add more bass, that's a must.

more bass, roger that!

A cool energy. Kinda loops. Racing/working.

This had me rocking and swaying whilst it was playing.
I got up for some dancing, but found myself slowing.
Maybe more beats would inspire my feet?
Maybe it's perfect for listening whilst working.

The beats early on are great. Later on though, they fade back a tad too much for my liking.

I think you could have come back in a bit earlier at the 1min mark.

I felt the tune really seemed to be running out of steam from 1:30-1:56. Maybe that could be cut back a bit.

I loved the switch-up at 1:57 and 2:12.

The last third of the tune sounds fantastic - little noises breaking up the melody. Cool beats.

My suggestion is basically to introduce a bit more variation into the 1:20-1:56 mark, maybe keep the beats going a bit more and maybe introduce some heavier beats.

A lot better than your other tune - I could really dance to this.

thnx guy. well critiqued! Ya, that break at one min does seem long...

Awesome, I likes it much!

Indeed though, the pauses inbetween the parts of the song either needs to be shorter, or an uh... stretchy thingie should join them... hopw you understand what I mean :P (sorry, not a music person).
Overall, the music was nice to listen to, and quite a happy song. I also enjoy the ending with the bass and all. Awesome work :)

umsldragon responds:

Yup, I know exactly what you mean for those breaks... though I haven't found a nice synth for it yet... still looking. Thknks man!

\m/

The melody and the rhythm are very nice and quite unique and I like how you have those little breaks during the song, it adds a bit varity to it.

My major concern with the song is that it's too quiet! It sounds the whole time as if I would listen to this from a very distant place, or as if you forgot to fade in properly. The result is a very flat sound without any bass.
So turn up the volume a little bit!

gotcha chief!

Good

Quite liked the song, even though it was really like 3 songs. But I didn't like when one part started and ended, the structure of the song was completely put out of touch. It wasn't pretty to hear, but overall a better than average song. GOod job
