Reviews for "Clock Bond Preview"

I give it a 8...

... just because it's a preview. Elseway I'd give it more!
I think the final explosion scenes to be one of the best I ever saw here: you got the right solution to the probem by "stopping" it, because animating it would result in too much work for just few seconds of explosion!

But if you want some suggestions: 1) I would love to see Grenade Clock's guns to point to the things he's shooting at (the man in the lift doesn't even seem to be hit by bullets); and 2) while the sniper rifle scene doesn't need anymore work (the bullet passing through the body is made almost perfectly, I think you could add some blood lines when Grenade cuts Guard Clock's throat (or whatever it is), or else it relusts little too "fictious".

Thanks for listening to my humble advices! :-)

StatiK responds:

Thanks. This was the first review I've seen that has given real advice. And good advice too. Thanks for the encouragement. I used the same effect for the sniper bit as Avacado did in Sonne. I'll take this into consideration.

you, my friend, are a good clock!

can't wait for the real thing!

.

Too bad this didnt have a real story or dialog behind it. GFX wise, a few sences were very nicley done ,such as the elevator sequence.
The sound fit overall very good.

StatiK responds:

'Twas a preview silly! The real movie will be out within a few months.

Quite good

A mention of KnottsberryClock's original "The Portal Is Not Enough" would have been nice.

Good Movie

The Clocks theme is overused, fine, but that aside this is a very good movie. I'm certainly looking forward with baited breath to the full movie. Nice little Matrix-esque lobby/lift explosion, loved the expression on the guard's faces. Also, if you don't mind my asking, I know "B" is a clock in-joke, but what's the deal with it...?
