Whew...
I watched Smile!... which made me go after your other two works there. With Aura, I kind of got the idea about it, but wasn't sure until I read the explanation. I know you said you think that the explanation can ruin it, but I see it as commentary, which I think makes any good piece of work better, providing that it's written well.
I was hoping that someone might be able to offer some insight to me; I have some idea, but I'd really appreciate if somebody could clarify and tell me where I'm wrong?
I didn’t understand the ‘angel’-like woman or her significance. Did that chap who looked like a general have intentions to use this negative aura for warful purposes? The dead person scene was about hooking up their thoughts, and experiencing the presence of the main character in the ‘mental observer’s’ mind caused him to overload? I’m really confused by this one, and I’d love to know your intentions that you were trying to convey overall.
I really like the way you do things. Your style, the fact that you attempted Aura with your other hand just for the sake of it… can I ask what makes you think of these things? What drives you, and if you don’t mind, your lifestyle… it all contributes to what I found to be a fascinating piece of work.
