Cool!
A real nice piece of work man, so much stuff I didn't know where to start, i still don't think i've finished making a level yet, anyhoo, if you do more, I agree wit the other guy,Gauntlet would be sweet, unfortunatly I lack any kind of skill required to make anything decent, Still very good though, not quite sure how people can mark it down.
a cool contra editor, i'd like to see a gaunlet

Here's some points...
I'll try to list things that'll be accomplished without comsuming too muich time:
**More backgrounds
**Smaller player
**Area tiles
+special blocks (respond to certain fire)
+falling blocks
**Enemy barriers (instead of them running off the screen!)
**Visibly different ammo boxes
All in all though, great engine. Im on your site now, and liking what i see. Keep up the great art and design, dude. Oh, and nice actionscript.
