Reviews for "Depression."

Not what it could have been

It was good enough that I could tell where you were trying to go with the idea. However, you went over the top in a few places and it really blocked off the message you were going for. Not to mention that while meaningful, this has type of story been done many many times before.

Is there a way out??

Yes, get friends. The guy seemed a little lonely, I didn't see why he would be depressed besides maybe not having anyone around or maybe it was just not having a razor to shave with but he sure can slit his wrist with one. *Gee, I knew I shouldn't have taken that razor apart!* Oh ya this also kinda reminds me of my "B/W Depression" movie, only thing was that mine had a storyline. Good luck next time.

You gave this entry a 5, raising its score to 3.50

nice i am currently taking meds for depression

ONUS missed one thing the broken swing most likly ment all the broken dreams and promises in his life. the clown probly represented part of his childhood at first happy and nice but soon it became dark and lonly full of despair and self loathing.

Hm.

I like the depth and meaning of this animation. An empty park signifying happiness being lost and devoid, and the temporary flash of seeing himself (I presume) on the swing, seems to symbolise a temporary moment where he though that even in a abyss devoid of happiness there might be hope, but only briefly. Then the tv.

The television is all staticy, which could symbolise lost purpose (the tv is ment to portray pictures and it currently cannot except for static) and he stares at it, most likely connecting the empathy with it, until the flash of the person cutting themself, which feels like the only purpose.

Very good animation. And as for you man, cheer up. I'm a therapist in study, so please feel free to email me and I'd be more than glad to talk to you.

Hope to hear from you
