Just before summer vacation started I was talking to my friend about the Matrix: Reloaded and all of a sudden I said, "Dude. I should make a spoof... Like the Simpsatrix... Homer cood be morpheus, Bart could be Neo and... No that's dumb... THE MATRESS!! It'd be like... a porn-o... no... but something cool." We talked about it and I decided I was going to get Flash. But I never got Flash and it looks like you beat me to it... shit... and I swear to you. That really happened.
Eric Sullivan: lol, not to sound like an ass, but I thought up the name "The Mattress" over a year ago... then I thought up "The Mattress Resprung" name just a month or so ago.

It did make me chuckle, but the art is definetely subpar to the other works on Newgrounds. Oh well...whee

You had a good concept, a good storyboard, but you needed to take a little more time with the artwork (or if you're really lazy get someone else to do it).

I know you guys are parodying The Matrix: Reloaded, which it is very obvious from watching this flash that you hated it, but the result of your effort was a bit, well lacking. I probably couldn't do any better myself, mainly because I don't have any free time or patience, but I think you guys could have. I suggest you redo the movie, but do it after something like Mystery Science Theater 3000 (which I would love to see making fun of the Matrix!). The effort was there, but most of IT wasn't. Anyways, overall pretty well done, lots of good humor, but I still liked The Matrix: Reloaded, and no spoof will change my mind.
Eric: No, you don't understand. That's just it.... that's how Sean draws. And, yes, he really has been working hard on this. Over a month & half or so. I mean, we really do not do this stuff on purpose. We are not professonal animators. We're just 2 normal guys who like movies.
Trust me, the effort was there, you just had to be living with us to see the full extent of it.
