Though the movie relied more on meaning than graphics, I felt myself identifying with it. I, myself, have asked that question on 4 separate occasions, of which only 1 was answered. Though not graphically that strong, it had a unique style and deep meaning. I liked this flash, strangely enough. I think that if you put a good amount of effort into the art, you'd have a grat flash.
Pretty nice.
I like the theme to this one.. it makes sense. I'm glad it wasn't a movie with nonsense and violence, but a good theme instead. The only thing I didn't like was the music.. I think you could have put in a better love song, not some R&B song.. :P

It was definately an interesting movie in that its just so different to most of the things that are on newgrounds.
Also you must have guts to leave a movie like this up, cos surely youd want to forget about times like that by now?
Anyway, out of interest whats up now? Do you hate her now or what, did you stay "just friends", did you get an explanation? Maybe you could post a follow up, to give your movie an ending kinda.
While the movie was interesting, it was lacking a little bit in entertainment value. I know to you what happened was bad and all that, but to NG users its kindof common/uninteresting. I kinda liked it cos it was original, and something people can relate to, although I can see why some people didnt like it.
By the way, congrats on getting into the top 50!
Thanks for the grats! Nah, I don't hate her, because this is a common thing to people. No matter how much you hear about it from others, the first time you fall hard. Even times after, but most of each time you learn more and more about relationships, even if you don't know it and it's staring you dead in the eye. Nah, never did get that explanation and not even friends. Maybe one day in the future someone will contact the other and be friends. Even if that doesn't happen, I still can look at the good times that we had and look into the future of what will become of next with others.

I had a similar experiance to yours, so on that level, your movie struck a chord. However, at the end I thought to myself, 'whats the point of this?' Their was no resolution, no punchline, no nothin'! Shit happens man! I was also sort of dissapointed that there is no animation per se. Its just stills. Oh well, cheer up you depressing bastard.
The real reason I couldn't make a REAL ending... well... simply because there wasn't one yet... at least in my life. "WHY" was about the confusement about why did this person hurt me... why did she do this for absolutely no reason at all. Also... another reason I could't get an ending was for 2 reasons... I had to edit it so much so I could upload it, because there is a file limit size to uploading on Newgrounds (doesn't help with the music, but I had to edit that a billion times). Next reason was because I used a LOT of frames in it (if you right-click on the movie and select print, it will show you how many frames were used)... thus it was freezing my Flash program to where it would take 5-10 minutes (literally) saving it and previewing it. Anyways... thank you for your suggestion. Sequal will be coming up to basically... give a ending... now that there is one in my life.
