Awesome Animation :D
A newly discovered lost Skitzo cartoon "Moon Mania" was released in 1922 when the very ideas of rocket fuel began to appear, but the already long-established fantasy of moon travel had taken hold by the late 1800s. Old newspaper records indicate that copies of this cartoon played in various small-town theaters in Florida.
Moviegoers of the time died within hours of viewing the film. Notable claims were of feeling their blood literally boiling under the skin, hot flashes, fever, and sunburns all over their bodies when they had not been exposed to outdoor elements of any kind. Mummified remains or piles of ash were all that were recovered from beds and homes...and there is no true head count on how many died in this bizarre event. All copies of Moon Mania were gathered and burned.
Animation historians were very lucky to discover this scrap of the film as the reel was discovered in an aluminum box submerged in a container of liquid nitrogen under floorboards in an abandoned planetarium. A hastily scribbled note was inside that stated "Keep it COLD!! Do not expose it for any reason as its heat resonates from no Sun or natural means...but from Hell itself!".

Many thanks for giving it a watch!
Now this is my favorite episode!
I really love the space:3
I'm so happy i stumbled across your account, I've been looking for these cartoons for like, years.
Haha cool! Glad you found them again XD
This cartoon feels like smoother in a way, I am so happy we finally got a new skitzo, i loved the idea of them crashing to the sun using a rocket, new one of my favorites.
Thanks a bunch! I've been drawing more in-between frames which could account for the smooth look? Glad you enjoyed :D
I've said this before, but I have to wonder if these scraps where ever intended to be viewed in their full version?
OOC:I feel there some kind of story brewing around the descriptions.
The full versions have all been burned away in history so the "scraps" only give the viewers a peek at the whole cartoon. And yeah I do like to add more info about each piece and how the "animation historians" discover the fragment reels :D its an ongoing mystery!! Which actually happens to a lot of items in history, and especially in the old film era....there are estimates that over 90% of all US films made before 1929 are "lost", and 75% of the black and white silent film era is lost forever. This makes the scarcity of Skitzo film reels rare in general, but also how just "scraps" are discovered in very odd situations or places seems to have more intention and reason... yet to be discovered and revealed!
