On this the last day of the month of its launch, we are happy to present the Newgrounds Dreamcast Collab on the Dreamcast. That's right, compatible with all popular emulators, optical drive replacements and good ol' CDRs. Here is a sampler (a demo disc if you will) of the Dreamcast Collab the way it was meant to be seen: in low bitrate standard definition!
Thanks so much to all our fellow collaborators. Despite an insane number of setbacks and close calls, this has been one of the best collab experiences ever! Here's to 25 more years of blue skies!
Compatibility Notes:
The current cdi has been tested with Flycast, Redream, and DCEmul emulators. It has been confirmed to work on all Dreamcast using VGA cables, all NTSC variants and *most* PAL models and CRTs. If you are having issues with a PAL Dreamcast, please try using composite video. The demo overdrives the PAL signal to 60Hz (retaining PAL colo... colour) and S-Video and SCART connections may not be compatible. If you need help by all means DM @alsoknownas1.

Hi, I don't want to bother you and to be honest I just want the achievements. I tried to download what they put there and I never knew what the code was. I don't know if I downloaded it wrong but I put everything that appeared to me as if it were the code and it didn't work. Could you help me?

Hey @Jhonny-C320. No worries. I can help a bit. :) If you're looking to do a legit run, you'll need (or at least need to emulate) the Dreamcast's most famous peripheral. You'll need to be quick too. If you're looking for a walkthrough, I'm pretty sure @Magnus727 has one. Good luck either way!

Positives: good videos with my favorite being the echo video, nice menu along with the music
Negative: FMV quality, is this the Newgrounds Saturn Collab or the Dreamcast Collab? cause I forgot this was the Dreamcast, the Dreamcast can do better then that!
Not bad but FMV needs improvement, I also thought the Segagaga Abridged was about the Sega Smash Pack for a sec judging by the characters on the cover😂 it’s still a good collection! Love it

As to video: Yeah. The DC can easily handle at least twice the bitrate, even on CDR. We ultimately made the tough call to squeeze almost an hour onto a single disc though, just to include as wide a sampling as we could with a predictable amount of crunch. Even then we still had to axe some of my favorites. :/
We're still churning on DC projects though. Maybe even a couple that might show off its real FMV chops. Stay tuned! :)
