you can down load joytokey if you wish to use a controller, it allows you to set your controller inputs to keyboard inputs

CONTROLS


wasd+arrow keys: movement


shift: dash


downkey or S: fast fall


space bar: double jump(time it just right to jump higher, or quickly double tap to reach max height)


this game is meant to test the current mechanics, i will continue to update it with new versions , any and all feed back will helpful in the development of the game.

after advance movement and combat is done, i will work on a temporary round based hack and slash game for feed back on enemy ai and over all mechanics, this wont come until maybe, 3 or 4 months possibly more!

the main game will have a speedy combat system, dashes,double jumping, hack and slash style, but high difficulty and skill ceiling is the goal. the game play loop will be similar to made in abyss, go as deep as you can, collect treasure, and return to the surface for goodies.

im working on adding advance movement right now, sliding, wall jumping and gliding is the last things i gotta do in terms of movement, theres also crouching but thats gonna be done this week. the next update should come in about 2+weeks which will just only introduce sliding and gliding. i'll also try to revamp the playground to better for both parkcore and testing purpose. combat is months far tho. having to hand animate these and code it mostly by my self takes up alot of time. but drawing is the main thing that takes alot of time. im fairly new to animation and i only know what it should look like but exacuting it my self takes along time. hopefully the more i animate the faster i can put out the animations <3.
