This is a broken version of a game we have been working on for way too long.


It started as a submission for Ludum Dare 51 - the theme being "every 10 seconds".


Dive into an oink-credible (demo) adventure with 20 sweaty levels brimming with sizzling platforming challenges and puzzles! Each level is a race against the clock, where you have less than 10 seconds to snout-perform your rivals, trot your way to victory, and unravel the mystery of the lab.

Ok.. That was pretty sweet. Although the mechanic isn't exactly new it was (IMHO) well executed. After taking several breaks I did eventually win the game. I do have a few suggestions though..

1. The key layout.. do not have us use the spacebar, the arrow keys, and the mouse.. I don't know why that seems good to some people, but I assure you it isn't.. Ultimately my way around this was temporarily binding my z key to right click. Make up jump or ditch the mouse... or both..

2. It is really not obvious that the torch is a torch when you first encounter it (level 13). Maybe have an NPC talk about what it does?

3. Level 20 (no time limit) can become unwinnable by the torches touching boxes (and thus not hitting the boss) because this level doesn't have a time limit it would be nice to have something respawn so you don't just have to suicide.. the same could be said of other levels where you accidentally create an unwinnable situation. That being said on timed levels you don't have much time for rectification, but the boss level is a different story.

4. As another reviewer mentioned the hitboxes for being crushed kind of seem all over the place, crushing you when you really aren't under it. You state plainly in the description that it is buggy, but it's Newgrounds we feedback.

Overall though really fun, I would definitely play a longer version of it. It does seem to be a great deal of trial and error and grinding... but that isn't always a bad thing. I'm sure this isn't your first game, but it is your first posting under this company. Look forward to seeing what else you can do.

i still can't believe this hasn't been aprooved yet, i played this yesterday but didn't have time to review it, it's pretty cool and i like the speedrunning thing

Decent game. I would add sprite animations as well as some more general decoration. Some of the parts of the game are kind of broken, for example: on level 5 trying to jump from the 1st moving block to the green blocks often gets the pig stuck. Additionally, sometimes the vertical moving blocks crush you and sometimes they just don't. I'll reiterate, good game, a cool idea, and plenty of content. But you should certainly put some more work into it.

good game, you should add an outline to the text because on the main menu it's hard sometimes to read the text, on level 12 you can jump next to the green box and completely ignore the moving platform, idk how this happened but overtime my pig stopped his animations and he was just a still sprite, on the main menu when you press "other" some of the buttons are so small i cannot read what they say, you should add a level selection on the main menu, it would be helpful if you could press r to restart the level instead of having to wait for the timer

i gave up on level 13 but i had a lot of fun with this game and might come back to it, also nice studio name :)
