Dear LORD did this take me a hot minute to do. So far this is not only the biggest project that I have ever worked on, but it's also my first game! Please feel free to tell me of any bugs or any issues that you may find with this, as well as any criticisms to improve. It would help a lot. Keep in mind, that this was a challenge to myself where I made a game in 1 year. (On and off work so I don't burn out of course.) I did all of the coding and art, plus just a teeny tiny bit of music. I know it's not a super long game, but there are about 12(?) endings so there's some content to chew on.

I just wanted to make a Pico dating sim that was to my liking, and in general a little more of an unconventional take on the dating sim genre. If you ask me, this is a Pico game first and a dating sim second. It's meant to be stupid and edgy. And a huge shout out to UNCLEREGZ! Without his help, I'd have to struggle to learn music on top of all the other things I had to do while making this beast.

Anyways, I won't stay to bore you with my ramblings. Happy Pico Day!!

Oh and one more thing- I couldn't get the custom load screen to work for the life of me. I give up. Here's what it was supposed to look like while it loads the game files :']

EDIT (5/1/2024): I woke up to seeing this in daily 3rd place! I wanted to give a huge thank you to everyone who have given their support to this cruddy game! It really has me floored thinking that my content would even come this close to being front paged! Mushy feelings aside, I've fixed a few sprites that didn't properly save as transparent PNGs. If you catch any other bugs, please let me know so I can patch the game or fix it in a future installment. I'd be glad to receive the feedback. Also, if any sprites pixelate then it's probably due to asset lag. Pico has a lot of moving parts for a visual novel so it might be that the game engine isn't used to it. All in all, thanks again! Here's to a good Pico day this May 18th as well!!!

Edit (5/18/2024): I got back to my hotel room after walking around a convention as Cass all day to see that the game was frontpaged?! This is the first time that this has happened with my content and I genuinely didn’t expect anything more than the daily third place. I plan to strive to make a few more games like this for the future. Happy Pico Day everyone! ;w;
