there's a quite a bit of lag after 100k score where enemy ships will just spawn out of nowhere and smash you

Welcome to the open seas, matey!
Your goal is to be remembered as the fiercest force to sail the seas by getting the highest bounty on your head!
Shoot ships with your cannons and TNT barrels, ram into cargo ships and plunder their booty and watch as your bounty grows! The higher your bounty, the more enemies pursue you until they destroy the menace in their waters. Take down Galleons for large amounts of booty but keep an eye out for other pirates who want to steal your plunder. Beware the Kraken, for it is a mighty foe, but if you can kill it it's heart will heal you back to full health. Killing these harder enemies and completing tasks will increase your reputation level and earn bonus upgrades for future runs.
Upgrade and repair your ship at the upgrade island to hold your reign as long as you can as the golden age of piracy comes to an end!
CONTROLS:
A or Left Arrow = Move LEFT
D or Right Arrow = Move RIGHT
U or Up Arrow = Move UP
D or Down Arrow = Move DOWN
Mouse aims your shots - LMB = single shot | RMB = triple shot (when unlocked)
Mouse wheel (click)/F = Change ammo types (cannonballs & TNT Barrels)
Spacebar - RAM in direction you're moving
