As a Puzzle Platformer I will say that the basic player movement of the game just isn't that fun to play, personally speaking. It feels a bit more 'slide-y' than I would like it to be leading to a lot of deaths, and simply holding the jump and directional buttons against a wall made me wall-jump more than I would like, leading to a lack of control that I felt when playing the game where precision is important.
I also feel that taking 7.5 seconds to restart the level takes too long, though I suppose I've taken speedy recoveries for granted with games like Super Meat Boy. When you die so often in a game like this, that amount of down time really adds up.
I will say that it does seem like an ambitious game with a considerable amount of effort put into it. if the world select screen is any indication, there's 4 different worlds to go through.
However I couldn't bring myself to play beyond level 20 of the first world. Moving boxes in this game is especially tedious and emit an annoying sound repeatedly while moving them. Therefore, having to carefully navigate said boxes without them getting stuck or destroyed felt to me to be the straw that broke the camel's back. I feel like a considerable number of levels could benefit from being shortened or trimmed from the game entirely.
The game should also save your progress using a level select screen instead of simply a 'continue' button, as selecting the First World instead of continuing removes your progress and you'd have to start over regardless.
Noticed a couple of bugs. I forget which level I was in when I encountered the first bug, but when I respawned, the character appeared inside the wall on the right side of the screen and couldn't move, and the game was running slowly, so I had to return to the main menu. Secondly on Level 14, there was a blue box that immediately got destroyed on spikes every time the level was reset, so I had to resort to a possibly unintended method to beat the level.
Anyways I apologize for ripping on the game so much, it was merely my personal experience for it, but I hope it can be used as a way to help improve upon the game or as a learning experience for future projects.
