GLUCOSED

this little game here is my first ever coding + visual novel ever. i always liked the combination between cute art and disturbing experiences. so a reminder that this game is indeed NOT a simple cute visual novel. (INSPO: Fluttermew on Itch.io. Please follow em)

game + art is all done by myself. the cgs, sprites, backgrounds and gui is drawn by me in ibispaint using my... thumbs lol, so i apologize if they look a bit wonky. i started this game in december and finished in early february. i made this on my school computer :( so sooner or later i will have to delete the files on my pc.

This is a game about a normal human being, you, that somehow managed to enter this overly sweet sugar world. So sweet it makes you sick, literally!

You got taken in by a sweet girl named Sucrose, and she's been taking care of you the last 3 years. Although you're not getting better. The so called "after effects" of the world affects your body a lot, and in Sucrose's words it's because your body is not used to this amount of sugar in the air. She promised to keep you alive, and so you have been able to survive by her help.

Today is a special day! That is because your other friend's from this world are coming over for a tea party, meaning that you get to finally talk to them after 2 years. You want to catch up with them, and maybe along the way you'll find out what's really wrong? As you do that though, make sure your brain doesn't rot to a sugary mess.

The game has 6 endings total and 15 CGS! (Technically this game has no "happy ending" but the sixth ending can be seen both ways)

LIST OF ISSUES

• Grammar issues. English is my 4th language, so the game might have grammar issues.
• Story issues. Believe it or not im not the best when it comes to writing and story building, but i did try my best! for my next game im definetly going to plan it out better lol.
• Art issues. It's quite funny how my art changed after 1 month. I used a much more simpler style since it's my first game, but promise will do ALL my best for the next one! Some CGS might look wonky and I apologize for that (mostly disappointed in Fructose's CG...) You can view my newer art on my Tumblr or Tiktok :D
• Other issues. If you find any other issues please let my know by commenting or sending me an email.
