?mediocre game

This is pretty cool. I've still only played a couple of runs, but early impression is that I'd like a little more visual and/or audio feedback to let me know if I've been hit. Shift or smth to run might also be nice.

That escalated quickly. LOL.. Super cool game, the guys with the swords may be a bit overpowered, but the overall challenge level of the game seems pretty good. Gameplay is super smooth, it actually looks very pretty. It would be nice if the crates contained stuff. As of yet I haven't found any kind of upgrades so I don't know if they exist. So it would be nice to see more of that and it would also be kind of nice if we knew why we are doing what we are doing as the game has no discernable story, just get to the exit.

As to the ninjas (?) if you did want to do something about them I think a 'fair' bullet block would be like a 10-30% chance, that would massively decrease the difficulty of the game but you could make it so that enemies will see and shoot through fences and windows. Right now though, like I said the game 'feels' pretty balanced I am just annoyed at the sword guys granted none of them are human so no realistic expectations need to be made.

Edit... 3 stars? WTF.. even before the swordsman adjustment way better than 3 stars. 4 stars? cool I can see that the game isn't perfect, but 3? that is literally average, just barely passing. And this is definitely beyond that bar.

I was surprised to find that just adjusting the swordsmen didn't nerf the difficulty of the game, at all. I was really happy with the change but didn't feel like anything was lost. However you chose the chance seems spot on, sometimes you can empty a clip and not get them sometimes you can kill them in one shot. Perfect! It would be nice to see what the negative ratings think is negative given some of the stuff on NewGrounds that can pull 3 stars. I have zero power over front paging but seriously this game is all kinds of fun.
