This game is a war crime. A crime against humanity.
An attempt at a City Builder-Tower Defense hybrid.
A short game to test out this idea.
Build your city during the day, defend it during the night.
Survive 10 waves, each with different enemies that provides their own challenge.
(Each day becomes shorter than the last because reasons)
Happiness affects your workers' efficiency, and causes a game over when it reaches 0.
TIP: Research is important.
Somewhat inspired by Frostpunk.

UPDATE:
Made some tweaks to hopefully make early game easier:
-Enemies are less likely to hurt civilians
-Wave 1 - 3 enemies have less health
-Increased starting resources
-Improved Hospital healing rates

I agree with Georgikus, it could use a short tutorial on how the economy works, I tried a couple of times and got game over on day 2 for unclear reasons (maybe losing too much happiness?) Looks like the game could be neat and expanded on if that initial learning spike is handled well though.
Shit, I forgot to communicate important mechanics again!
I really need to be more careful about this.
I played this a bunch of times and couldn't manage to make it past wave 2. lol.
Fun, but difficult. Took me a couple plays to figure out that you can pause the game. Handy for building and assigning workers.
